The Sampson 30 is a NAM capture pack captured from a real Bad Cat Era 30 amplifier — a hand-wired Class A 30-watt boutique amp based on the Vox AC30 circuit topology with Bad Cat's signature refinements. The Era 30 is known for its bell-like chime, responsive touch sensitivity, and beautiful harmonic complexity from clean through driven. These are the tones that make players put down their Vox and order a Bad Cat.

Every NAM capture in this pack was made from the actual Bad Cat Era 30 in a professional studio environment, captured through a professional studio preamp (NEVE 1073, API 512, or Harrison 32c), Beyer M160 ribbon (front) and Shure SM57 (rear).
